ATscale is developing a policy brief on domestic financing strategies for AT in LMICs, which will outline key challenges, current financing mechanisms, and existing evidence gaps. The inception phase has been completed and currently the work is focused on evidence gathering and stakeholders interviews.

To share preliminary findings, ATscale participated in a side event on the ‘Future of assistive technology financing in low- and middle-income countries’ at the GATE Summit 2025, that featured sector experts to discuss key challenges in AT financing, share insights on existing tools and methodologies, and highlight best practices and emerging solutions.
